We have started a new tradition.
Every year we giving each other a new coffee table book that has some sort of meaning either to the giver or the receiver - or just because. We are going to scribble a personal note inside so over the years we will both accumulate an amazing collection and be able to look back and cherish the words we wrote to eachother.
We love coffee table books - fashion, home design, travel, food, art, fine jewelry - the photography, composition - we both really enjoy them and have already been collecting them for years.
My mom has been giving me a new fashion book or two every Christmas since I began working in New York. We think they make the most perfect, personal gift and really add personality and conversation in your home.
