On the 2nd Day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave to me...gratitude.

That is right. I am all dried up with fashion gift ideas and L and I are just waiting for the sales - so stay tuned! But really the best gift we can give to each other is: gratitude. Remember to be grateful this holiday season! Hugs and kisses to all :)

On the 3rd Day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave to me...a super chic, inexpensive vase?

Yes, that is right. So random but so chic. For $25 - add a pop of color to any apartment or room. It doesn't hold much, but it doesn't need to. We think this is a perfect small gift for anyone... leave it to Kate Spade to provide amazing gift ideas...

On the 4th day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave to me...nothing and everything!

We are getting so close to Christmas - are you soaking it all in!? Please do. The holidays come and go so fast. If you are looking for a little something for someone who has it all try this book: The Gift of Nothing. A simple story about Mooch a cat wanting to find the perfect gift for his friend Earl the dog. Oh the lessons we learn from animals - priceless.

We all know about the craze with fur vest this season and who doesn't love a nice leather coat. How about this state & lake fur collar leather jacket - combo of both leather and fur! So this piece is a little pricey, but on sale and maybe if you wait til after the holidays to give a gift (eek did I say that - wait...) it might go on sale even more...now 30% off! $392.00. I die for it in black.

On the 7th Day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave to me...cozy cashmere.

You don't always have to wear cashmere...you can also place it, folded on the bottom of your bed or on the corner of a couch. I am one that believes that you can never have too many throw blankets - especially beautifully soft ones. William-Sonoma Home has some fabulous cashmere blankets on sale - perfect gift for anyone. For a personal touch - get it monogrammed!

On the 10th Day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave me...sleep!

Every fashionista needs a good nights rest to feel refreshed in the morning. That means 8 hours girls! To help you beauty queens sleep just a little longer in 2011 (can you believe it is almost here - ahh!) think about gifting someone with this lavish Lavin satin leopard print travel kit.

$490. But $490/365 nights... $1.34 a day - not terrible ;) I love how long division can talk to you into any purchase!

Ok ok - we all know beauty doesn't always have to cost a pretty penny. A favorite NYC lingerie store - La Petite Coquette carries some sexy beauty/sleep masks for $15 - $30.

On the 11th Day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave to me...ideas for the world traveler.

Years ago my mom gave me a brightly colored monogrammed passport cover. I love it because in my black hole of a bag, I can find it lurking beneath magazines, tucked in between a sweater and my wallet. Great gifts for anyone you know who travels a lot or is traveling soon.

Neiman Marcus offers a very well-priced version in great colors on sale for $39.99. For the person who loves designer goodies, Kate Spade and LV have fabulous options for $65 and $260, respectively.

Bon Voyage!

On the 12th Day of Christmas...

Laurie and Shannon gave to me...Classics.

Keeping up with 'tradition' and classics - L.L.Bean is a great place to shop for the holiday season coming up.  L.L. Bean has reasonable prices with great quality that last over the years. I always had the tote bags growing up. Over the years the bag was used for holding toys to carrying clothes to sleepovers to becoming a beach bag!  This camo hunters tote ranges from $19 - $30! Very chic.

7 more days of free shipping!

ps. Here are some cozy ll bean slippers from our friends at amazon - great gift for anyone!

Tradition...we love tradition.

Now over 100 years old, Barbour is a 4th generation family owned British brand providing a wardrobe of clothes for the country but can still be worn in the city.

I picked up my first Barbour this weekend with my mom and it was a little different than the basic waxed style. Great gifts for men and women!

I love stationary! What better way to send a thank you or hello to someone you love and really mean it of course on beautiful paper!  I have my go-to favorite brands, one being Linda and Harriett. However, one of our blog readers just showed me this new site. The company is just to die for: Mr. Boddington! The site is named after the owners imaginary friend...didn't we all have one!? So cute!

If you still need Christmas cards or thank you notes - be sure to check out this site! Here are a couple examples of Mr. Boddington work:

Also Linda and Harriett has an amazing calendar that I buy each year. Not only can you find the calendar on her site, but she is selling them to West Elm!  $35. The calendar also doubles up as postcards. I love a good two in one gift!

15 days...

Who doesn't love a gorgeous piece of gold jewelry. Jennifer Zeuner has the most delicate pieces - necklaces, earrings, bracelets in a variety of metals at different prices. I die for the Jennifer Zeuner Horizontal Cross Necklace. I can wear this with all of my other jewels.

The perfect gift!

Style is not about just fashion but home and interior design. We believe it all goes hand in hand which is why you have seen some home furnishing/gift postings. To continue in this spirit, I had to pay homage to the amazing Staffordshire dogs my Nana had in her home. When I was young, I didn't have a real appreciation for home furnishing and personal touches but I wish I had gotten my hands on the pieces when we sold her home. I found this affordable set of 2 Carleton Varney white dogs and for $39.95!

A wonderful gift for a woman who loves to add a touch of class and tradition to her home or apartment!

For all you lucky ladies who are going away this holiday season be sure to buy a new bikini for yourself. Yes - why not - gift yourself! You deserve it! My personal go to inexpensive favorite is Victoria's Secret. $16 for a cute tie bikini bottom - sounds good to me! I like to mix and match my suits sometimes and I am not crazy about the VS tops (to be honest). I usually pair the VS bottom with a J.Crew top.  I just bought this bottom from VS for a wedding in St. John this December (Congratulation's Jenny!).  J.Crew is a little bit more pricey, but with the savings on the bottom - hopefully you can spring for it.  $40 for this deep green triangle top.

Perfect mix and match for the VS/J.Crew bathing suit style!

Women love a good luxury item - you can never go wrong with a wallet. It isn't as expensive as an entire bag but its still a great way to give someone a fabulous gift if you do not want to break the bank but still want to spend a little something extra for someone special. Loving this neutral, amazing Miu Miu wallet. Yes, it is $500  - but not too many people will have it.

Gloves, gloves and mittens! Ok every season - I never have any gloves. I am not kidding. I swear - I lose them or they disappear or they honestly get too gross to wear anymore. I was searching around and bluefly.com has a ton amazing gloves. What a great gift for someone you love - keep those hands warm this winter season! Here are a couple of my favorite from the site...

We both love iomoi.com - it is chic, fun, whimsical and so our style. A great gift for a friend, hostess, family member is a Lucite Tray from this amazing site. You can personalize it with initials and choose a funky print that is appropriate for the person receiving. We love everything from the more basic, traditonal "Bamboo Print" in green or yellow to the bright, cheery and exotic Double Monkeys or "Sir Beasley and His Camel". The color combos are genius brighting any desk, ottoman or room! $100 - $995 (depending on size)

This holiday season put away your heavy beads, pearls, and gemstones and pull out a necklace from Saako. I am loving these fabric necklaces. They are made from recycled jersey fabric - what a clever idea! If you are headed out of town this holiday or staying local - these are a must to brighten up any outfit and you will be sure to stand out in any crowd! ($50 - $100)

25 Days Until Christmas

We wanted to do something fun for the holiday season so we decided to post 25 great gifts for the season - a new one each day. Some luxurious and a little more expensive, some 100% affordable.

For the first day of our countdown, I thought I would start out with something festive and green. I saw this incredible Sugar Coat Bracelet at Kate Spade on 5th Avenue. What is so amazing about this is that it can honestly be worn with ANYTHING. Black dress, skinny jeans...its precious and so chic. And under $250 - is a great gift for a female family member...
