Tradition...we love tradition.

Now over 100 years old, Barbour is a 4th generation family owned British brand providing a wardrobe of clothes for the country but can still be worn in the city.

I picked up my first Barbour this weekend with my mom and it was a little different than the basic waxed style. Great gifts for men and women!

I love stationary! What better way to send a thank you or hello to someone you love and really mean it of course on beautiful paper!  I have my go-to favorite brands, one being Linda and Harriett. However, one of our blog readers just showed me this new site. The company is just to die for: Mr. Boddington! The site is named after the owners imaginary friend...didn't we all have one!? So cute!

Came across this site in the new Bazaar magazine under the gift guide - Seaside Inspired. For anyone looking for gifts for your mother, mother in law, aunt, cousins, and friends who all are so lucky to have a beach home somewhere from Nantucket to Palm Beach - there are some great gifts ideas on this site!

Style is not about just fashion but home and interior design. We believe it all goes hand in hand which is why you have seen some home furnishing/gift postings. To continue in this spirit, I had to pay homage to the amazing Staffordshire dogs my Nana had in her home. When I was young, I didn't have a real appreciation for home furnishing and personal touches but I wish I had gotten my hands on the pieces when we sold her home. For all you lucky ladies who are going away this holiday season be sure to buy a new bikini for yourself. Yes - why not - gift yourself! You deserve it! My personal go to inexpensive favorite is Victoria's Secret. $16 for a cute tie bikini bottom - sounds good to me! I like to mix and match my suits sometimes and I am not crazy about the VS tops (to be honest). I usually pair the VS bottom with a J.Crew top.  I just bought this bottom from VS for a wedding in St. John this December (Congratulation's Jenny!).  J.Crew is a little bit more pricey, but with the savings on the bottom - hopefully you can spring for it.  $40 for this deep green triangle top.

Gucci for $220? Sure...why not? Classic, timeless and so chic. Doesn't scream brand name but anyone who knows the label and its signature colors knows its Gucci. We love this! Great gift for guy or girl...
