I love this look from DVF. I think knee high boots in general should be flat so the look isn't sooo much, but hey if you can rock these - I am all for it!

Was just looking at one of my favorite blogs - Puddin Pie - and noticed the Lela Rose fashion week post. I went to Lela's site to see the orange dress - to die for - that Puddin Pie posted.
Anyway, I noticed - Lela Rose for Payless - check it out!
I am in lovveee! Something with orange lately - cannot get enough!

How cute are these ballet flats:
a chill in the air - please!
As we all wait for a little chill in the air so we can bring out our scarves....(possibly this weekend so says the weatherman!). I am loving this Marc Jacbos metallic mad plaid scarf! I love that there are so many colors in the scarf - so you can wear it with your military or camel coat, black blazer, or even dresses up a white tee and jeans.
My neck says 'yes' to this ;)

Loving Roarke New York
With this gloomy weather, we love a sparkle and shine. I discovered Roarke about six months ago - this line of necklaces, bracelets and headpieces is modern, fresh and ultra cool. I am totally inspired by all the pieces. Talk about making a statement...

Koch is Kool
I just picked up this Koch top the other day at Gramercy's 2 year anniversary party! Congratulations Khaki!!! I instantly googled the line to check out the designers site . Be sure to look it up because there are some cute kaftans and fun accessories. I paired this top with a funky kenneth jay lane necklace to bring out the brown in the plaid. This outfit will carry me right into fall and winter.

It's not a Birkin...but....
I want a Birkin. I said it, I admit it but it just probably won't happen. Don't they cost something like $12,000-$18,000. I mean - thats a year at some private schools, a small car, a year of rent in New York. So, this is close to it but its not quite it. The Ricky from Ralph Lauren - named after his beautiful wife. The Ricky is chic, timeless and the perfect color brown. Still a little pricey but I have time to save my money!

House of Harlow
I love a great bracelet or necklace to throw on to dress up any outfit. This summer I bought my first HOH necklace and I love it! I think this cuff is to die for:
It has an old school look to the piece, but will update your look instantly!

Dazzling...
I am a sucker for a little sparkle. These CC Skye pyramid studs aren't super cheap but they go with everything. If you'd rather go with gold , then have no fear - the line offers both. Call our friend Khaki Young at Gramercy Boutique - she sells them too!

LC
When the Hills first came out - I was obsessed! Weren't we all!? I even have a best friend who would call me Brody - haha! You ask...she was LC! This past Us Weekly had LC on the cover - so I figured I would check out her line. I was curious to see how far along she had come as a designer. LC now sells to Kohls. I have to admit with the right outfit - these biker faux-leather pants could be pretty fun! They are on sale for $29.99 - cheap thrill! I think I am having a 'rocker girl' moment lately....

Bonkers for ballet flats!
I have always loved ballet flats. This season is all about simple chic - I am coveting these simple Eddie Tory Burch ballet flats. The Eddie is perfect to wear around town or even dress them up for a dinner out on the town, when heals are just not an option. I am loving the smog and royal tan - both to die for!
Both Laurie and I went to the same high school as Tory - Agnes Irwin and of course adore her and her line !

Crossing my body in this...
Our good friend Kristin Gish is not only a wonderful person but a very talented designer. Her handbags are modern, unique and super luxurious. Yesterday, I picked up the Teddy Crossbody in chestnut embossed anaconda. I wore it right away to a concert that night - it was perfect. Close to my body and big enough for my blackberry, camera, money, cards, ID, lip gloss with room left over. LOVE IT. Check out her site - Creations by Kage and you will most likely be purchasing a new bag.

Moto Heaven
I love expensive, luxurious things but after the ADAM coat, we know we need to show options that are affordable but still look luxe. When I came across this amazing leather jacket from Old Navy - I was SHOCKED that the store was offering this piece for fall. You cannot always count on the BIG retailers to be on trend but Old Navy proved us wrong - at $199 - this is a STEAL and if you are sick of it by next fall - at least you didn't break the bank.

Something about the mountain air...
As I recently just got back from Vail, CO there is just something about the mountain air ... it makes me want to dress mountain chic back east! Last year, I was all about finding the perfect leather jacket to add to my wardrobe. This fall season, for me it is about finding the perfect shearling coat. I do believe I found one I love to death by Adam.
I love the contrast of the collar to the rich leather. This coat is sure to keep you warm and stylish all fall.
Just beautiful!

Tucker for Target!
Its online now - Tucker for Target! I was lucky enough to score an amazing dress from the Gilt.com pre-sale in mid August. Of course the material is not traditional Tucker silk we love from the line, but the prints make the dresses feel like the real thing. You MUST get at least a dress or top or you will regret it! I have the dress below and at $39.99 - it is the perfect thing to add to any wardrobe!

The Perfect Blouse...
Being in our 20s, it is all about purchasing things that will go with a pencil skirt, a pair of skinny jeans or black pants and even shorts. Along with our favorite silk lines Tucker and Parker, Yumi Kim has stolen our hearts. Bold prints, bright colors and flattering sihouettes, we cannot get enough of the line. Also, check out the sale for the next few days!

Most Wanted Right Now
This fall I am all about simple easy chic. I want to add essentials to my wardrobe that I will wear all the time. Every day I look at the Christian Louboutin simple 85 pumps. As much as I would love to wear the 100's - the 85's make more sense for everyday wear. I love the patent leather, but may just buy the standard leather - so many choices! I am obsessed with the black or camel. I just love camel for fall! Season after season these shoes will be a staple in my closet.

F This! STRIPES...
Those lovely lines seem to make their way into our wardrobes each season. Constantly asking ourselves "Does this make me look fat?" "Is this really flattering?" We have decided that we just cannot get enough of our horizontal and vertical friends - STRIPES.
For spring/summer - its always the nautical look. Blue and white, red and white and we are still a fan - Cannot get enough. DIE for them. If you know us well, you know we have been wearing stripes nonstop for the past 3-4 months. We need to go to Stripe Rehab.
Check out a few of our favorite summer striped looks and the best stripes to take you into fall.
